The big Easter concert of the project "Musical national team of Russia"

About
"Where there is pious music, God is always there with his gracious presence." (J.S. Bach)
The great music of Bach will open the program of the Big Easter Concert. His Sonata for Flute and Piano in E Major ("Easter") will be performed. The sublime beauty and light palette of the composition will set the tone for a festive evening. We will also hear the magic flute in the Fantasy in G Minor by the French composer and flutist of the first half of the twentieth century, Philippe Gaubert, and in the playful, ironic Scherzo from Prokofiev's Sonata for Flute and Piano in D Major.
The cello selection of the concert will feature: one of Tchaikovsky's most famous pieces Pezzo capriccioso, a virtuoso Allegro from Shostakovich's Sonata for Cello and Piano in D Minor, the fantastic "Dance of the Green Devil" by Spaniard Gaspar Cassado, Variations on a theme of Paganini for solo cello by Hans Bottermund and Janos Starker and the most virtuosic "Humoresque" by Rostropovich.
The nostalgic Melody from the collection "Memories of a Dear Place", created exactly 145 years ago, and the brilliant concert Waltz-scherzo for violin and piano by Tchaikovsky are among the most performed and loved by the public violin compositions of the composer. These miniatures will also be performed in the concert. The beauty of authentic Romanian folklore will be revealed by "Romanian Dances" for violin and piano by Bela Bartok. The Campanella from Paganini's Second Violin Concerto will delight the ear with the sound of bells. The name "Campanella" (from Italian. Campanella – bell) appeared due to the sound of the upper notes.
The cycle of five miniatures "Morning Songs" was Schumann's last completed work for piano. These plays, created 170 years ago, are rarely performed today. The concert program included chorale No. 1 Im ruhigen Tempo in D Major and mobile No. 4 Bewegt in F-sharp minor. The compositions of Rachmaninov, whose 150th anniversary is celebrated this year, will also be performed. Prelude No. 6 in E-flat major Op. 23 is poetic, with a very melodious melodic theme. Sketch-painting No. 9 in D major Op.39 – brilliant, "fairground", with features of the eastern march. Transcendental Etude No. 11 “Harmonies du soir” The sheet, technically very complex, almost "acrobatic", will allow you to experience a series of powerful psychological experiences. And Tchaikovsky's lyrical "Sentimental Waltz" will give a reason to be sad, but without drama.
The "Musical Team of Russia" is a unique concert cycle of the St. Petersburg House of Music, in which young Russian soloists - laureates of recent international competitions, as well as Russian participants of the international Tchaikovsky Competition take part before competitive performances.
