«Juno and Maybe»

About
"Juno and Maybe" is perhaps the most famous Russian rock opera. Its content is based on real events — a tragic love story of the Russian count and navigator Nikolai Rezanov and the daughter of the Spanish governor of San Francisco Conchita Arguello.
So, "Juno and Maybe" is a story about how Nikolai Rezanov, as part of an expedition that he led, stops in California on his way to Alaska. At the ball, he meets sixteen-year-old Conchita, who falls in love with him. After getting engaged to her, Nikolai Rezanov is forced to continue the expedition and leave the bride in California. On the way to St. Petersburg, where he was going to bother about a marriage license with Conchita, since she is a Catholic, Nikolai Petrovich falls ill and dies. Conchita had been waiting for him for many years and did not believe that he was dead, and after receiving confirmation of his death, she took the veil and took a vow of silence.
