From July 17 to August 29, 2023, the St. Petersburg House of Music, under the leadership of the People's Artist of Russia, Professor Sergei Roldugin, will hold three sessions of visiting closed master classes. The VII Summer Academy of the House of Music will be held at the Narzanov Valley health resort in Kislovodsk. This unique program is designed for successful soloists over the age of 18 who are preparing to represent Russia at international competitions in the fall. The main cast of participants are soloists of the House of Music. An intensive course of individual lessons with a teacher and lessons with an accompanist has been specially developed for young musicians.

People's Artist of Russia, Professor Sergey Roldugin (cello) - From 1974 to 1984 – artist of the Honored Collective of Russia – the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Leningrad Philharmonic named after D.D. Shostakovich under the baton of Evgeny Mravinsky.
From 1984 to 2003, he was the first soloist–concertmaster of the cello group of the Mariinsky Theater Orchestra.
Professor, in 2003-2004 – Rector, St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky - Korsakov.
Since 2004, he has been engaged in conducting. Guest conductor of the Mariinsky Theatre. He performs with leading symphony orchestras in Russia and abroad.
Since 2006, Sergey Roldugin has been the artistic director of the St. Petersburg House of Music, created on his initiative, a federal institution that trains young Russian soloists of classical specialties for international music competitions. He has achieved a full–scale restoration of an architectural monument - the Palace of Grand Duke Alexei Alexandrovich, where master classes and chamber concerts of youth projects of the St. Petersburg House of Music are held.
In 2011, he was awarded the Order of Honor for his great contribution to the national musical art and the training of musical and pedagogical personnel. In 2016 – the Order of Alexander Nevsky. In 2017 – the Kazakh Order "Dostyk" (Order of Friendship) of the II degree, in 2021 - the Order "For Services to the Fatherland" of the IV degree.
As a soloist, he collaborates with the orchestra of the Moscow, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, Samara Philharmonic, GASO. Svetlanova, the orchestra of the St. Petersburg Chapel, takes part in leading music festivals.
Performs concerts in Russia and Europe. A successful creative union has formed with such conductors as Valery Gergiev, Yuri Temirkanov, Arvid Jansons, Maris Jansons, Saulius Sondeckis, Yuri Simonov, Martin Brabbins.
The extensive solo and orchestral repertoire includes compositions from different eras and styles. Has recordings on radio and television.
Annually conducts a series of master classes in Russia, European countries, Korea and Japan. Participates in the work of the jury of national and international competitions.

Soloist of the Mariinsky Orchestra, associate professor - Denis Lupachev (flute) - In 1993 Denis Lupachev became a laureate of the Virtuosi 2000 Festival (Russia), in 1997 he received a special jury prize of the international flute competition in Kobe (Japan), in 1999 he became the winner of the international competition Leonardo de Lorenzo (Italy).
Since 1998 he has been a soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra.
He has performed as a soloist with the Mariinsky Orchestra and conductors Gianandrea Noseda, Tugan Sohiev, Mikhail Agrest. He has also performed with the Moscow State Academic Chamber Orchestra, the Yekaterinburg Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra and many other orchestras in Russia.
Denis Lupachev regularly gives concerts in collaboration with pianist Peter Laul in the Small Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic and the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theater.
In 2016, he founded the annual Flute Virtuosi Festival, which has already been attended by Emmanuel Paiu, Denis Buryakov, Walter Auer, Julien Bodiman, Matthew Demin.
In 2019, he took part in the first “Festival of Baroque and Chamber Music” in Sochi.
His new audio recording "A Flute for the Tsar" was released in January 2020 on the ReachSound.Art label.
As an associate professor at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory, Denis Lupachev gives master classes both in Russia and abroad (Higher National Conservatory in Paris, Heydai University in Tokyo).

Laureate of the Maestro Temirkanov International Foundation for Cultural Initiatives Award (2005). Winner of the scholarship of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation "Young talents" (2005). Fellow of the St. Petersburg House of Music and AB "RUSSIA" (2010).
Participated in the international festival "Square of Arts", festivals of the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation, the Musical Olympus Foundation.
He has performed with various symphony orchestras: the St. Petersburg Chapel Orchestra, the St. Petersburg State Academic Symphony Orchestra, the Yale University Orchestra (New York), the Swedish Brass Orchestra.
He has collaborated with conductors Alexander Slutsky, Alexander Titov, Grigory Uglov, Anatoly Rybalko, Arkady Steinlukht, Yuri Temirkanov, Alim Shakhmametyev, Maxim Fedotov, Vasily Sinaisky, Kenneth Young and others.
He performed as a soloist at Carnegie Hall. He toured Switzerland and Germany.
Participant of the programs of the St. Petersburg House of Music since 2008.
