In 1979, the outstanding virtuoso violinist Vladimir Spivakov united the best musicians of the Russian capital in the chamber orchestra "Virtuosos of Moscow". Here, each musician is a bright personality, and together they make up a world–class ensemble.
Vladimir Spivakov – People's Artist of the USSR, Armenia, Ukraine, North Ossetia-Alania, Republic of Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Republic of Bashkortostan.
In 2006, Vladimir Spivakov was recognized as a UNESCO Artist of the World for his "outstanding contribution to the world art, his activities for peace and the development of dialogue between cultures", and in 2009 he was awarded the UNESCO Mozart Medal. In 2012, Vladimir Spivakov was awarded the State Prize of Russia "for outstanding achievements in the field of humanitarian activity"
Vladimir Spivakov is a full knight of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland.
