«Soli Deo Gloria»

Soli Deo Gloria ("Glory to the One God") is a new program of the Honored Artist of Russia Svetlana Berezhnaya (organ, harpsichord, piano) dedicated to the works of J.S. Bach.

Johann Sebastian Bach was a genius of such magnitude that even today it seems an unsurpassed, exceptional phenomenon. His music is incredibly beautiful and emotional, but in its greatness they do not allow sentimentality. Bach managed to achieve an amazing balance between intellectual and emotional beginnings, like equality between day and night. Everyone who is familiar with musical literature knows that all composers have had ups and downs, but Bach has only great and even greater music.
