On August 9, young virtuosos participating in master classes, including laureates of leading music competitions, will perform at the A. Scriabin Concert Hall with a real gala concert of world masterpieces for piano, oboe, trumpet.
From July 17 to August 29, 2023, the St. Petersburg House of Music, under the leadership of the People's Artist of Russia, Professor Sergei Roldugin, will hold three sessions of visiting closed master classes. The VII Summer Academy of the House of Music will be held at the Narzanov Valley health resort in Kislovodsk. This unique program is designed for successful soloists over the age of 18 who are preparing to represent Russia at international competitions in the fall. The main cast of participants are soloists of the House of Music. An intensive course of individual lessons with a teacher and lessons with an accompanist has been specially developed for young musicians.
Miroslav Kultyshev (piano) was born in Leningrad. He graduated from the Secondary Special Music School at the Conservatory (class of Z.M. Zucker), the St. Petersburg Conservatory and postgraduate studies (class of A.M. Sandler).
He started his concert activity at the age of 6. At the age of 10, he made his debut in the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, performing Mozart's concerto in D minor under the baton of Yu.Temirkanova.
In 1998 he became a laureate of the Moscow Festival of Young Pianists named after G.G.Neuhaus, in 2007 - the winner of the XIII International Tchaikovsky Competition, and in 2012 - the winner of the International Monte Carlo Piano Masters Competition (Principality of Monaco).
Miroslav Kultyshev was repeatedly invited to international music festivals: "Kissinger Sommer" (Germany), "Elba-the musical island of Europe" (Italy), "Stars of White Nights", "Faces of Modern Pianism", Festival in Rock D'anteron (France), "International Week of Conservatories", "Kremlin Musical", "Mikkeli Music Festival" (Finland), "Klavier Festival Ruhr" (Germany), the Festival in Dushniki (Poland), as well as the Salzburg Festival.
M.Kultyshev performs in the best halls of St. Petersburg and Moscow, as well as in such world-famous halls as the Musikverein in Vienna, the Salzburg Mozarteum, Lincoln Center (New York), Suntory Hall (Tokyo), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Wigmore Hall (London), Gaveau Hall (Paris) and etc .
The pianist collaborates with such conductors as V.Gergiev, Y.Bashmet, V.Ashkenazi, V.Sinaisky, M.Gorenstein, V.Petrenko, I.Marin, N.Alekseev, A.Dmitriev.
He tours in many countries of the world.
He is an associate professor at the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory.
Pavel Sokolov (oboe) was born in 1975 in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow Secondary Specialized Music School (S. Burdukov's class) and the Russian Academy of Music named after him. Gnessin (class of Professor I. Pushechnikov). Later he continued his studies at the Higher School of Music in Detmold, Germany, in the class of Professor Gernot Schmalfus. Winner of the first prize of the All-Russian Competition of Performers on Woodwind instruments in St. Petersburg (1994), the Richard Lauschmann Competition in Mannheim, Germany (1999) and SONY International Oboe Competition (Tokyo, 2000).In Germany, he worked as an oboe concertmaster in the German Symphony Orchestra of Berlin, the Komische Oper Orchestra. He has collaborated with such orchestras as the Konzerthaus Orchestra (Berlin), the Hamburg Opera, the Symphony Orchestra of the Southwest Radio of Germany, the Orchestra of the Bavarian State Opera. From 2009 to 2014 he was a soloist of the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra (Norway). At the same time, he taught at the Norwegian Academy of Music. In 2014, Pavel Sokolov began working in the Honored Collective of Russia, the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic named after D.D. Shostakovich. As a soloist, he has performed with such ensembles as Sinfonietta Köln, Orchester Jeunesses Musicales, RIAS Jugendorchester Berlin, Duisburger Philharmoniker, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Karuizawa Arts Festival Orchestra, Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, Yaroslavl Philharmonic Orchestra, Novosibirsk Chamber Orchestra. Permanent soloist of the chamber ensemble Consortium Classium (Germany), with whom he participated in the recording of three CDs. Conducts master classes at international music festivals International Karuizava Arts Festival and International Music Festival Kirishima (Japan), Branimir Slokar Academy (Slovenia), Valdres Sommersymfoni (Norway). Currently, he is active in solo, orchestral, ensemble and teaching activities (teacher of the St. Petersburg Music School named after Mussorgsky).
Boris Taburetkin (trumpet) - Boris Taburetkin after graduating from the Leningrad Conservatory (class of Professor Yuri Bolshiyanov) in 1976 took the place of soloist of the orchestra of the Kirov Opera and Ballet Theater (now the Mariinsky), where he worked until 2002.
Over the years, he had the opportunity to play (including occasionally and as part of Philharmonic orchestras) conducted by such conductors as E.Mravinsky, E.Svetlanov, G.Rozhdestvensky, Yu. Simonov, Yu. Temirkanov, V. Gergiev, V. Fedotov and others.
Since 1985, he has been actively engaged in teaching activities at the Music College named after. Rimsky-Korsakov, since 2004 - senior lecturer, currently associate professor at the St. Petersburg Conservatory.
He has repeatedly conducted master classes in Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Tallinn (Estonia), in the same cities he worked as a member of the jury of competitions.
His students became laureates of many prestigious international and All-Russian competitions.
