About
Tosca is a famous opera by the Italian composer J. Puccini based on the play of the same name. The plot of the opera takes place in Rome at the beginning of the XIX century. At the center of the events is the love of singer Floria Tosca and artist Mario Cavaradossi. This great story of love and betrayal has been stirring the hearts of opera fans all over the world for more than a century. The performance was so loved by the public that today it is the most performed in the world.
The premiere of the opera "Tosca" on the stage of the North Caucasus State Philharmonic named after V.I. Safonov took place in the summer of 2017.
