"THE SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS OR TRUFFALDINO FROM BERGAMO"

The action takes place in Venice of the XVIII century. The rogue Truffaldino, who escaped to rich Venice from a poor provincial Bergamo, is hired as a servant to two rich seniors. The clever and resourceful Truffaldino manages not only to serve two gentlemen, but also arranges their personal happiness, without forgetting about his own interests.

It was once written about the comedy "The Servant of Two Masters" that the play was "fast and assertive." And indeed, the action unfolds so rapidly that the viewer barely has time to follow the confusing plot. It seemed that the play by the Italian Carlo Goldoni about a sneaky and cunning servant gained immortality not only on the screen, but also in the hearts of the audience. Despite the frenzied success of the Russian musical film directed by Vladimir Vorobyov with the brilliant Konstantin Raikin in the title role, the directors did not stop putting this story on the stage.

The atmosphere of the city of love and romance has been created in the production of the North Caucasus Philharmonic. Carnival spirit, amazing melodies, incendiary dances, sparkling humor, unexpected jokes and amusing situations that the characters get into. And all this mood unites − light, airy, Venetian.
