"Christmas meetings on the Waters"

Every year, the North Caucasus State Philharmonic named after V.I. Safonov hosts the most soulful and atmospheric music festival "Christmas Meetings on the Waters". This festival is a symbolic summing up of the musical year, and at the same time it is a festival of premieres and surprises. Starting with the celebration of the New Year and the next three weeks from Christmas to Epiphany, new and long-loved concert programs with the participation of all the leading collectives and soloists of the Philharmonic will be played in the halls of the Philharmonic.

The Festival will open with a concert on December 24 at 16:00 "A dream on a winter night". The program is performed by the V.I. Safonov Academic Symphony Orchestra, Honored Artist of Russia Svetlana Berezhnaya (piano), Laureate of international competitions Karen Shahgaldyan (violin),

The conductor is Nikolai Shugaev.

The festival will end with a concert of choral music "Old New Year" - January 14, 19:00. The program is performed by the Laureate of international competitions Philharmonic Choir named after V.I. Safonov, conducted by the conductor - Laureate of the All-Russian competition Elizaveta Pischnaya.
